Singapore In Snaps

Hey Lykkers 👋 Just came back from Singapore, and honestly, I didn't think I'd enjoy it this much.

It's more than the shiny skyline and famous Merlion. There's flavor, color, and fun in the tiniest corners 🌈

Here's what I did in 3 days—no fluff, just real stuff (and what I'd do differently next time).

I landed around noon and checked in at a cozy hotel near Bugis—super convenient area with lots of food and MRT nearby.

First stop? Lau Pa Sat hawker centre!

✅ Chicken rice (so tender)

✅ Satay skewers (pro tip: go after 7PM when street stalls open)

✅ Iced kopi (strong and sweet, just how I like it ☕️)

Ended the day at Marina Bay. The free light and water show at night? Absolutely worth it. Magical vibes ✨

Started early at Chinatown—clean streets, cute shops, cheap souvenirs. Then hopped over to Little India for breakfast.

🛍️ Shopping spree at Orchard Road (warning: you'll want everything)

Dinner at Maxwell Food Centre was a win! I tried the black carrot cake (not dessert—it's a savory radish dish and it's SO good).

Wanted a slower pace, so I visited Gardens by the Bay. The Cloud Forest Dome = rainforest in a dome = stunning 💦🌿

Walked through Haji Lane for murals, indie shops, and chill coffee vibes.

Before heading to the airport, I had the classic kaya toast set—sweet coconut jam, soft-boiled eggs, and kopi. Simple. Local. Perfect end 🥚🍞

Plan MRT routes better (my legs still hurt 😂)

Always carry a mini umbrella ☔️

Bring a refillable water bottle (free water stations everywhere)

Go slower—Singapore's chill pace is part of the charm
