Lippie Review: Which One?
With so many lip glosses, balms, and overnight masks on the market, it can be overwhelming to decide which ones are actually worth the investment.
After trying different formulas, here's a breakdown of three lip care products I've been using regularly—each with its own strengths and weaknesses!

1. Glow Recipe Plum Plump Lip Gloss Balm

This is already my second jar, and I’m nearly finished with it. The texture is on the thicker side, which I love for deep hydration, especially overnight. It stays put while I sleep, leaving my lips soft and plump in the morning without transferring onto my pillow. Considering the size and price, it offers great value—one jar lasts for months, making it the most cost-efficient option out of the three.

2. Tatcha Kissu Lip Mask

This one feels lighter in texture but leans a little sticky, which is why I prefer to use the spatula included with it. I've noticed it doesn't stay on as long while sleeping, so it works better as a daytime lip treatment when you can reapply throughout the day. Although it's a nice product with beautiful packaging, it isn't at the top of my repurchase list compared to the others.

3. Farmacy Lip Smoothie

Farmacy's version has a thinner texture similar to the Tatcha mask, but it's not sticky at all, which makes it more comfortable to wear. While it doesn't have the same staying power as Glow Recipe, it still leaves my lips feeling nourished and soft. This is also my second jar, and I really enjoy the refreshing scent, which makes application feel like a treat.
All three balms do a solid job at hydrating lips, but they serve slightly different purposes. If you want a heavy-duty overnight treatment, Glow Recipe gives the best value and lasting power. Tatcha feels more luxurious but works better for daytime touch-ups, while Farmacy offers a lightweight, non-sticky option with a delightful scent. Depending on your needs, any of these could be a good fit in your lip care routine!
