Two Steps To Drama Glow
There are days when I don’t feel like overcomplicating my makeup, and that’s when a simple duo becomes my go-to. Pairing a bold lip with an expressive eye can already say a lot without layering too many products.
Lately, I’ve been reaching for a combination that feels both moody and confident: Anastasia’s Demona eyeshadow and L’Oreal Paris RW15 Black Cherry lipstick. It’s a pairing that leans slightly dramatic but still wearable, especially when I’m in the mood to stand out a little.
1. Anastasia Denona Eyeshadow
This shade has a personality of its own. It’s not the kind of color that blends quietly into the background. When I first tried it, I noticed how it shifts depending on the light—sometimes deeper, sometimes slightly reflective. I usually apply it with a light hand at first, then build it up slowly. What I like most is how it doesn’t need much help; even worn alone, it gives enough dimension to make my eyes look more defined.
2. L’Oreal Paris Black Cherry RW513
This lipstick feels like confidence in a tube. The color leans toward a rich, deep berry with a hint of boldness that catches attention right away. I remember hesitating the first time I wore it outside, thinking it might be “too much,” but it quickly became one of those shades that changes your whole mood. The texture sits comfortably, not too heavy, and I find myself reapplying it more out of habit than necessity.
What makes this duo interesting is the balance. The eyeshadow adds depth around the eyes without competing too much, while the lipstick becomes the focal point. I’ve tried switching the intensity—sometimes going heavier on the eyes and lighter on the lips, and other times letting the lipstick take center stage. Either way, they don’t clash. Instead, they seem to complement each other in a way that feels intentional, not overdone.
