Two Scents Two Selves
Perfume, for me, is never just the last step before leaving the house. It’s more like a quiet signature—something that lingers, something that shifts how I carry myself without anyone needing to point it out. I don’t rotate fragrances just for variety; I reach for them based on how I want to feel.
Lately, two scents have been living in my mind, each with its own personality, each telling a very different story.
1. Giorgio Armani My Way
This one feels like openness. The first time I wore it, I remember thinking how approachable it smelled—soft florals, a little sweetness, nothing too heavy. It’s the kind of fragrance that doesn’t try to dominate the room, but still gets noticed in a gentle way.
There’s something very easy about it. I don’t have to think twice before spraying it on. It works on days when I want to feel light, when I’m not trying to make a statement but still want to feel complete.
2. BDK Tubéreuse Impériale Eau de Parfum
This one is a different presence entirely. It doesn’t ease into the room—it arrives. The tuberose note is unmistakable, rich and slightly bold, and it carries a certain intensity that feels more intentional. The first time I wore it, I noticed how it changed the way I moved. There’s something about it that makes you more aware of yourself, almost like it demands a bit of confidence in return. It’s not loud in a chaotic way, but it definitely has depth. The floral aspect here feels more layered, less airy, and a little more mysterious.
Having both feels like having two different moods bottled up. One is easy, almost effortless; the other feels more deliberate. I don’t think I could choose just one, because they serve completely different moments.
