Three Blushes Three Moods
Blush used to be something I added at the very end, almost as an afterthought. Now it feels more like the step that pulls everything into place. I don’t always use it the same way either—sometimes I go light, sometimes I let it stand out a bit more.
These three have been sitting in my pouch lately, and each one brings a slightly different mood with it.
1. Too Faced Cloud Crush Blurring Blush
There’s a softness to this blush that’s hard to ignore. Not just in texture, but in how it shows up on the skin. It doesn’t demand attention; it just quietly adds a gentle warmth. I usually sweep it on without much thought, and somehow it always looks blended, like it settled in on its own. It’s the one I reach for when I don’t want to overcomplicate things but still want that “something’s different” effect.
2. Rhode Blush Pink
This one feels brighter, a little more awake. The pink tone has that fresh quality that instantly lifts my face, especially on days when I look more tired than I’d like to admit. I tend to use it sparingly at first, then add more if I feel like it. It has this way of making everything look a bit more lively without crossing into anything too bold. It’s simple, but it shifts the whole mood.
3. Makeup By Mario Soft Pop Plumping Blush
Compared to the other two, this one carries a bit more weight. The color shows up clearly, and I actually like that about it. When I use this, I don’t feel the need to layer much else—it already does enough. It gives a slightly sculpted look while still keeping that natural feel intact. I usually pick this when I want my makeup to feel a bit more intentional, like I actually planned it out.
What I’ve noticed is that I don’t really have a favorite. It changes depending on the day, the lighting, even how much time I have. Some mornings call for something soft and quiet, others need a bit more color to feel complete. Having these three around makes it easy to shift between those moods without overthinking the process, and that’s probably why I keep reaching for them.
