Antioxidant Toners!
If there’s one skincare category I became unexpectedly obsessed with, it’s essence toners.
I used to think toners were optional, but once I started using antioxidant-rich formulas, my skin honestly started looking healthier, glowier, and way less dull.
These kinds of toners make my skin feel hydrated while also helping it look more refreshed over time, which is probably why I keep buying more of them. Here are some of my favorite antioxidant essence toners lately — plus whether I personally think they’re worth the price.
1. I’m From Rice Toner
Price: Around $28–35
This toner is honestly one of the most comforting skincare products I own. The milky texture feels lightweight but still deeply nourishing, especially when my skin feels dry or tired. I always shake the bottle before using it, and every time I apply it, my skin instantly looks more hydrated and healthy.
What I love most is the soft glow it gives. My skin always looks smoother and brighter after consistent use, and it layers beautifully with the rest of my skincare without feeling heavy.
2. Missha Time Revolution The First Essence Enriched
Price: Around $35–50
This essence genuinely feels so luxurious on the skin. The texture is lightweight but somehow still makes my skin feel deeply hydrated and plump afterward. I especially love using this when my skin starts looking dull because it gives that fresh healthy-skin look almost immediately. The fermented ingredients are probably what make this product stand out so much. My skin always feels smoother and more balanced whenever this is in my routine consistently.
3. Miguhara Anti Wrinkle First Essence
Price: Around $25–40
This essence feels super refreshing and lightweight, but it still gives really good hydration without making the skin greasy. I personally enjoy using this during warmer weather because it absorbs quickly and layers nicely under other products. What stood out to me most was how soft and smooth my skin felt after using it regularly.
It gives that healthy hydrated glow without feeling sticky, which I always appreciate because I hate heavy skincare textures. I also feel like this is one of the more underrated Korean essence products because people don’t talk about it enough.
4. numbuz:n Toner Super Glowing Essence
Price: Around $20–30
This toner is perfect for days when my skin looks dull and dehydrated. The texture feels silky and hydrating, and it leaves behind the prettiest healthy glow without making my skin feel oily. I really like using this before makeup because it makes my skin look more radiant and smooth underneath foundation. It gives that soft dewy finish that makes the skin look naturally healthy instead of overly shiny.
Antioxidant toners and essences became such an important part of my skincare routine because they make my skin look more alive and balanced overall. Some days my skin needs deep hydration, other days it needs brightness and glow, and these products each bring something different depending on what my skin needs. Honestly, once you find a good essence toner, it’s really hard to go back to skipping that skincare step.
