I swear highlighter is the one makeup product that makes me feel instantly prettier even when the rest of my makeup is super basic.

Like… you could literally just wear concealer, blush, add a little glow on the cheeks and suddenly everything looks way more alive.

These two highlighters have been giving me completely different makeup moods lately.

1. Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Multi-Glow Highlighter

This highlighter makes me understand why people are obsessed with Charlotte Tilbury makeup. The glow is so soft and smooth that it almost looks like your skin is naturally glowing instead of wearing makeup. I also really love that it doesn’t give that chunky glitter look. It’s more of a blurred candlelight kinda glow that makes the cheeks look healthy and expensive.

The pinky tones in the palette are sooo pretty too, especially for soft glam makeup. And honestly… the packaging alone makes me want to use it more. It feels very “rich girl getting ready at her vanity” energy.

2. CmaaDU Cosmetics Highlighter

Okay this one is for the glow lovers. Unlike the Charlotte Tilbury one that looks soft and elegant, this highlighter is way more noticeable in the best way possible. The shine catches the light immediately and gives that super glowy makeup look that looks amazing for night makeup or photos.

I like using this whenever I want my makeup to look extra because it layers beautifully without looking too powdery. Sometimes I apply just a little for daytime, but when I really want the glow to pop… this one NEVER disappoints.

Honestly these two highlighters are complete opposites for me, but that’s exactly why I love both. One gives soft expensive glow, the other gives full “notice me when the light hits” energy. Depends on the mood honestly.
