Battle of Cleansing Oils!
Hi beauties! Lately, cleansing oils have become one of the most important steps in my skincare routine, especially on days when I wear makeup or sunscreen for hours. A good cleansing oil just makes everything feel cleaner without needing to rub the skin too much.
This time, I wanted to compare two cleansing oils that I’ve been using recently — and honestly, both are surprisingly good.
1. G2G Cleansing Oil - Around $6.00 to $13.00 USD
What I like about this cleansing oil is how comfortable it feels on the skin. It removes makeup, dirt, and sunscreen really well without leaving my face feeling overly greasy afterward. The texture feels smooth and easy to massage into the skin, and it rinses off nicely without that heavy oily layer some cleansing oils leave behind. For daily use, it honestly works really well. The packaging is also easier to control, which I appreciate more than I expected. Sometimes small details like a good pump make the whole experience less messy.
2. PrettyMe Cleansing Oil - Around $18.00 – $22.00 USD
The quality of this cleansing oil is actually really nice too. It cleans the skin properly and feels gentle enough for everyday use. I genuinely think it performs well. But honestly… the packaging frustrates me a little. The pump feels quite stiff, so if I’m not careful while pressing it, the product can spill or squirt out too quickly. It’s one of those small things that becomes annoying over time, especially when you’re rushing through your nighttime routine.
For me, both cleansing oils perform well and feel worth the money. They’re affordable, effective, and comfortable enough for daily cleansing routines. If I had to compare them personally, I think G2G feels slightly more practical because of the packaging, while PrettyMe wins a little in value since you get more product for a lower price. At the end of the day, both do their job nicely — it really depends on whether packaging convenience matters a lot to you or not!
