Toners My Skin Loves!
Greetings, Lykkers! If you have combination or sensitive skin, you probably know the struggle of finding skincare products that hydrate without causing irritation.
My skin is naturally sensitive and gets red very easily, especially after exfoliating. Whenever that happens, I always reach for a hydrating toner to help calm and replenish my skin.
Over time, I've found a few toners that work particularly well when my skin feels stressed, dehydrated, or sensitive. Today, I'm sharing two of the toners I use most often and why they've become staples in my routine.
1. Skin Game Kind Hydrating Toner
This is the toner I reach for whenever my skin needs immediate comfort. The texture is lightweight and watery, which allows it to absorb quickly into the skin without leaving any sticky residue. Whenever my face feels irritated or looks noticeably red, this toner feels incredibly soothing.
Another thing I love is its gentle ginseng tea aroma. The scent isn't overpowering—instead, it adds a relaxing touch to my skincare routine. Out of all the toners in my collection, this is probably the one I use most frequently because it feels so cooling and comforting on the skin.
2. True to Skin Cica Mugwort Essence Toner
Whenever my skin is dealing with redness or breakouts, this is usually the toner I reach for. The formula contains Cica (Centella Asiatica) and Mugwort, two ingredients that are often loved for their calming properties. I find this combination especially helpful when my skin feels sensitive or looks a little irritated.
Compared to the Skin Game toner, the texture is slightly thicker and more essence-like. Despite that, it absorbs surprisingly quickly and doesn't leave my skin feeling sticky or heavy. What I appreciate most is how balanced it feels. It provides hydration while also helping my skin look calmer and less flushed. Whenever I'm experiencing post-breakout redness, this toner fits seamlessly into my routine.
When it comes to sensitive skin, hydration is one of the most important steps in my routine. These two toners have helped keep my skin feeling comfortable, balanced, and less prone to irritation. The Skin Game Kind Hydrating Toner is my go-to for soothing hydration and everyday comfort, while the True to Skin Cica Mugwort Essence Toner is perfect when I want calming ingredients that help support stressed skin.
Now I'd love to hear from you, Lykkers—what's your favorite hydrating toner for sensitive skin? Have you found one that instantly calms redness and keeps your skin feeling happy all day?
