Stay Fresh Fix!
Great Day, Readers! I really love both of these, and honestly it’s so hard to pick a “better” one because they just work in totally different moments of my life.
Some days my skin wants glow, some days it wants hydration, and I’ve realized my makeup routine changes with that too.
So, instead of forcing a winner, I just started paying attention to when I actually reach for each one. And that’s when it all made sense to me.

Charlotte Tilbury Setting Spray

This one feels like my “summer makeup finisher.” I always reach for it when I want my makeup to look smooth, soft, and a little glowy without looking oily. It gives that pretty blurred finish that makes everything look more put together, even on hot days when my makeup usually wants to give up on me. What I like most is how it keeps everything in place while still letting my skin look alive—not flat, not dry, just healthy and fresh.

Milk Makeup Hydro Grip Primer

This one is basically my “dry skin comfort step.” Whenever my skin feels tight, dry, or just needs a little extra love, I use this before foundation. It gives this hydrated, slightly tacky base that really helps my makeup stick nicely and look smoother throughout the day.
In winter especially, I notice my base looks way more even and glowy when I use it. It’s like my makeup sits better on my skin instead of clinging to dry patches. It also gives a subtle glow that makes my skin look healthier even before foundation.
I guess this is one of those situations where I don’t actually need to choose a favorite… I just need to match the product to my skin mood and the weather. Lykkers, are you more into glow-setting sprays or hydrating primers? Or are you like me and just switch depending on the season?
