Facewash Face-Off!
Hi Readers! I used to think face wash was the most “whatever” step in skincare. Like… just cleanse and move on, right?
But recently my skin started reacting differently depending on what I use, and suddenly I found myself paying way more attention than I expected. So I’ve been rotating between these two—and honestly, my skin mood changes with them.
Bioderma Sébium Gel Moussant Actif
This one? Totally different energy. I use it when I feel like my skin has been through it—oily T-zone, sunscreen overload, or just that clogged feeling I can’t ignore anymore. The foam feels more active, like it’s actually doing something deeper. After rinsing, my skin feels very clean. Almost like I hit reset. Not in a harsh way, but definitely in a “okay, everything is gone now” way. I don’t use it every day though—more like when my skin asks for it.
Avoskin Natural Sublime Cleanser
This is my “I want my skin to feel okay today” cleanser. I reach for it on normal days when I don’t want anything dramatic. It feels soft on the skin, like it’s cleaning without trying too hard. No squeaky feeling, no tightness after. Just that simple “okay, my skin feels fine now” moment.
I especially like using it in the morning when I’m half asleep and don’t want my skincare routine to feel like a task. It’s the cleanser I trust when my skin feels a bit sensitive or just… tired.
If I’m being real, I don’t pick these randomly anymore. Some days I want comfort. Some days I want a reset. Avoskin is my comfort cleanse. Bioderma is my reset cleanse. And my skin honestly behaves better when I listen to that difference.
