Hey Lykkers, If you’ve ever looked at your hairbrush or shower drain and felt stressed about how much hair is falling out, I totally get it.

I’ve been there too—constantly wondering what I could do differently. That’s actually what pushed me to try hair treatment oils more seriously instead of just ignoring the problem.

After using them consistently, I did notice a difference, especially in how much less hair I was shedding over time. These are the two oils I’ve been using in rotation.

1. Nutrishe Nutrihair Hair Treatment Oil

This one feels quite rich and thick when you apply it. It’s made with natural oils like olive oil, coconut oil, and castor oil, so it feels very “traditional” in a way. I usually apply it before shampooing and leave it on for about an hour. Sometimes I cover my hair with a hair cap so it can sit properly and feel more absorbed. When used regularly (around 3 times a week), I noticed it helps reduce hair fall gradually.

The only downside for me is that it can be a bit difficult to wash out. I usually need to shampoo twice to make sure my scalp feels completely clean.

2. Ree Derma Wellness Hot Oil Hair & Scalp Treatment

This one feels lighter compared to Nutrishe, which makes it easier for me to apply and rinse out afterward. It also contains natural ingredients like coconut oil and capsicum extract, and I usually leave it on my hair for about 2 hours before washing. I like that it doesn’t feel too heavy on my scalp.

For me, the biggest advantage is definitely how easy it is to wash off. One round of shampoo is often enough, which makes it more convenient for days when I’m busy but still want to treat my hair.

If I want something more intense and nourishing, I go for Nutrishe. But when I want something lighter and easier to manage, I reach for Ree Derma. Both need consistency, though. I realized hair oil isn’t something that works instantly—it’s more of a slow routine that pays off when I actually stick to it. And honestly, seeing less hair fall over time made the effort feel worth it.
