I've tested quite a few over the years, but lately, I've been switching between two Korean favorites: Moremo Hair Serum and Kundal Hair Serum.

They're both popular for a reason, but after using them side by side, I realized they work best for completely different hair types. Here's my personal take on both.

1. Moremo Hair Serum

This is the serum I reach for the most. The texture feels lightweight and smooth, which is a huge plus because my hair gets oily fairly quickly. I can apply a few pumps through my lengths without worrying that my hair will look greasy an hour later. What I love most is how soft and manageable my hair feels afterward.

It helps tame frizz, adds a healthy-looking shine, and makes my hair feel silky without feeling heavy. Another bonus? I really enjoy the scent. It's noticeable but doesn't linger in a way that feels overwhelming.

2. Kundal Hair Serum

Kundal is definitely the richer option of the two. The texture feels thicker, and I immediately noticed that it coated my hair more heavily than Moremo. For my oily hair, that can sometimes be a little too much, especially if I accidentally use more than necessary. That being said, I can absolutely see why people with dry or damaged hair love it. The nourishing formula makes hair feel smooth and conditioned, almost like an extra treatment step.

If your hair tends to be coarse, dry, or constantly exposed to heat styling, this serum might be exactly what you're looking for. For me, it's a product I use sparingly, but for someone with dry hair, it could easily become a favorite.

This comparison taught me that the "best" hair serum really depends on your hair type. Moremo is my go-to when I want smooth, shiny hair that still feels light and fresh. Kundal is richer, more nourishing, and probably a better fit for anyone dealing with dryness or damage. If my hair ever becomes drier in the future, I can definitely see myself reaching for Kundal more often. For now though, Moremo is the one that keeps earning a spot in my daily routine.
