Hyperpigmentation Routine!
Those pink, red, or brown marks that linger after breakouts? That's post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIE), and it can be stubborn to fade.
While it takes time and consistency, the right products can make a big difference. Here are two serums I've used that have helped improve the appearance of my dark spots!
1. Topicals Faded Serum
I like applying it mainly on my chin, where most of my hyperpigmentation shows up. The scent is quite pronounced, which is why I save it for nighttime. You can use it morning and night, just remember your daily sunscreen. After seven months of consistent use, I've noticed a visible reduction in dark spots.
2. Indeed Labs Pepta-Bright
This serum focuses on brightening and promoting cell turnover, making it especially useful for acne-prone skin. I've been using it on and off for about three months, and it has definitely helped improve my overall skin tone. It also pairs nicely with the Topicals Faded Serum for a more targeted routine.
Both of these serums have shown real results when it comes to fading post-blemish marks. If you want a stronger formula for discoloration, the Topicals option is a great pick, while Pepta-Bright is excellent for gentle brightening and texture. The key is consistency—and always using sunscreen to prevent new spots from forming!
