After seeing both of these viral hair masks all over, I finally gave in and tried them myself!
Here's my honest take after testing both the Tsubaki and Fino hair masks!
1. Tsubaki Hair Mask
This mask turned out to be the real winner for my hair type. The Tsubaki formula feels incredibly rich but doesn't weigh the hair down, which is perfect for fine, low-porosity strands. It helps reduce frizz, adds noticeable shine, and leaves hair soft and manageable without feeling greasy. The lightweight texture also makes it easy to rinse out, giving a salon-smooth finish every time.
2. Fino Hair Mask
The Fino mask definitely has its strengths—it delivers deep nourishment and makes the hair silky to the touch. However, for low-porosity hair, it can feel a bit heavy if used too often. It's more suited for thicker or drier hair types that need extra moisture and repair. While it gives shine, it doesn't leave my hair feeling as light and bouncy as the Tsubaki does.
Both masks have amazing formulas and live up to their viral reputation in different ways. Fino focuses more on deep hydration and repair, while Tsubaki delivers balanced care—softness, smoothness, and shine without buildup!
