Perfume Picks You Love?
Perfume is the part of my routine that feels the most personal. It doesn’t really follow rules or trends for me—it’s more about how I want the day to feel when I step out.
Some days I want something sharp and confident, other days something softer or more nostalgic. These three sit in that balance for me.
1. Chanel Coco Mademoiselle
This is the one I use when I want to feel a bit more composed without trying too hard. It has that clean, modern kind of elegance that doesn’t feel loud but still gets noticed. There’s a certain confidence in it that makes it suitable for long days outside or moments when I want to feel more put together. It settles nicely on the skin and stays present without becoming overwhelming, which is probably why it feels so dependable.
2. Diptyque Ofrésia
This one feels softer and more airy in comparison. It leans floral, but not in a heavy or traditional way. It’s the kind of scent I reach for when I want something calm and slightly romantic in the background. There’s a gentle freshness to it that makes it feel easy to wear, especially when I don’t want anything too strong following me around all day. It has a quiet charm that grows on you the more you wear it.
3. Maison Margiela Replica
This line feels more like storytelling than just perfume. Each scent from the Replica range seems to carry a mood or memory, and that’s what makes it interesting. I use it when I want something a bit different from the usual floral or fresh direction. It feels less polished in a traditional sense and more atmospheric, like it’s trying to capture a moment rather than just smell good. It’s the one I switch to when I want something with personality.
Between these three, I don’t really stick to a fixed pattern. One leans elegant and structured, another soft and floral, and the last feels more like a mood or memory in a bottle. I like that I can choose based on how I feel that day instead of following a routine. In the end, perfume becomes less about finishing a look and more about setting the tone before anything even starts.
