Floral Perfume Fresh Pick
Floral perfumes always feel a bit nostalgic to me. Not in an old-fashioned way, but more like something familiar that keeps coming back in different forms.
I don’t wear them every day, but when I do, it’s usually because I want something softer, something that doesn’t feel too heavy on the senses. Rose, especially, can go in so many directions—and these two show that in their own way.
1. Dior Rose Kabuki
This one feels airy, almost like the scent is floating rather than sitting directly on the skin. The rose here isn’t too deep or overpowering—it leans more delicate, almost powdery in a gentle way. I usually wear it when I want something that feels light and clean, like it blends into the day instead of standing apart from it. It doesn’t demand attention, but it leaves a soft impression that lingers quietly.
2. Diptyque Eau Rose
This one feels more like a true rose, slightly fresher and more grounded. There’s a natural quality to it, like the scent of petals rather than a polished version of them. I tend to reach for this when I want something a bit more noticeable, but still within that soft floral space. It has a balance between fresh and slightly sweet that makes it easy to wear without overthinking.
Floral perfumes—especially rose—feel like they come down to small differences. One might feel lighter, the other a bit more defined, but both carry that same gentle presence. It’s not about choosing which is better, just which one fits the mood you’re in at the time.
